The City of LaSalle is hosting their first ever Run, Run, Rudolph 5K Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 5:30 PM. Exploring the park on foot while it’s lit up is one of the most requested opportunities for the Celebration of Lights. The event is free to attend but donations are greatly appreciated. Donations allow the Celebration of Lights Display to continue each year. Fun Run participants sign-in at the Auditorium Ballroom in downtown LaSalle, 109 Wright Street, and take a shuttle bus to the light display. There will be no parking at Rotary Park. Shuttle Buses begin at 4:45 PM and return to pick-up participants in regular intervals. Pre-registration is not required. The Celebration of Lights begins it’s 11th year on November 10, 2023, when the full display opens for vehicle traffic.
