The Scarecrow Fest in Princeton has been postponed due to the weather forecast for Saturday to October 28, 2023.  The Scarecrow judging will be on Friday, October 13th, as planned and voting will begin Friday night for Princeton’s Choice.  Witches Night Out kicks off at 3 PM on Friday, October 13th.

The Princeton Chamber of Conference posted on their facebook page:  “We regret to inform you that due to the unfortunate weather forecast for Saturday, we have had to make the tough decision to reschedule our annual Scarecrow Festival for Saturday, October 28th. This will also include the Bureau County United Way’s Little Blue Truck Event, Artists on the Lawn with the Prairie Arts Council, as well as the Bureau County Fair’s 5th Annual Halloween Parade. The good news is that all events, locations, and times will take place as originally planned. The goal with having all of these fun family events is to be able to enjoy beautiful Fall weather in one of our gorgeous parks and on our historic Main Street. Safety and enjoyment for all attendees are top priority and we all believe this is the best decision for everyone involved. Thank you for your patience and understanding! We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, October 28th!!!”
