Step back in time with the SRC Community Chorus as they present “Playin’ Favorites: The Great American Songbook” featuring iconic tunes from the 1930s to the 1950s. The upcoming performances are set for June 7 through June 9 at the SRC Theatre, Canton Campus. This musical revue showcases a blend of full cast numbers and medleys including classics like “Summertime” and “Moonlight in Vermont.” With a talented cast assembled from central Illinois’ finest theatres, and a live combo band, the shows promise a nostalgic journey through the Golden Age of Radio.
