LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss has announced the arrest of 56 year old Stephen T. Trapp of Streator, Illinois. Trapp is charged with 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. The arrest occurred on Thursday January 4th following an investigation involving the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, the Streator Police Department, the Ottawa Police Department, the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office of High Tech Crimes. Trapp has been taken to the LaSalle County Jail where he is being held with no bond pending a detention hearing.
