Residents of Kewanee are invited to a Public Information Meeting about plans for a major downtown reconstruction project. The gathering is set for Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at City Hall, located at 401 East 3rd Street, starting at 5:30 PM. Hutchison Engineering, Inc., which is overseeing the design work, will present an overview of the proposed improvements and outline the project timeline. Afterward, both city officials and engineering representatives will be on hand to address questions from attendees. The meeting marks an important opportunity for community members to learn about upcoming changes to four downtown blocks.
