A power outage in the south side of Kewanee has taken Regional Media’s radio stations offline. According to Ameren, there are 1,744 customers without power. The cause for the outage is unknown and there isn’t an estimated time for restoration. Ameren has assigned a service person/crew to assess the outage.
WKEI 102.1 and 1450 am, Hog Country 102.5, and Star 104.7 are offline from the power outage.
