Dena’s nominator said, “Dena has went out of her way for my son many times. She has helped to shape him into the amazing young man he is today. She has helped so many students at NGS and has been such a rock in their lives. There are so many kids that would have been lost in the system and she has taken them under her wing to help redirect their behavior and given them the benefit of the doubt. I have seen so many children blossom into wonderful human beings after being in her school. This woman is a pillar of the community and deserves recognition for everything she does!”
