At the Marshall/Putnam County Fairgrounds, the Henry Triangular cross-country meet brought strong performances despite some thin rosters. Henry’s boys secured the team victory by forfeit, with Newark’s Teagen Britz clocking the fastest time at 19:45 over 5 kilometers. Princeton’s Brady Gross and Cruz Rodriguez placed fourth and eleventh, respectively. On the girls’ side, Princeton claimed the team win by forfeit, led by Ruby Acker’s first-place finish in 21:49. Payton Frueh, Alexandra Waca, and several other Princeton runners followed closely. Coach Pat Hodge noted that some illnesses depleted the boys’ lineup, while the girls maintained their usual consistency.
