The City of Geneseo is beginning road resurfacing projects on September 26th and roads may be closed during this time. The surface milling and asphalt overlay could start the week of October 7th. Cars need to be off the street and out of parking areas in the construction area, and some roads may be closed overnight or open late in the evening. The city has sent letters to the residents impacted by the surface improvement projects. Here is a list of roads in the surface improvement project:
- S. Stewart Street from Creek Bridge heading South to 1450
- N. Stewart Street from Eachage St. to W. Palace Row
- S. Center Street from W. First to W. Second Streets
- S. Oakwood Avenue from E. First to E. North Streets
- E. Second Street from Oakwood Avenue to S. State Street
