The Bureau County Farm Bureau announces the ‘Roads, Rivers and Rails’ workshop for educators, focusing on agriculture and the environment. This immersive program, set for June 16th and 17th, aims to deepen understanding of agriculture and the environment. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, take field trips, and earn graduate credits. However, spots are limited to just 30, and the deadline for applications is rapidly approaching on May 16th. It’s an invaluable opportunity for educators seeking to bring new perspectives to their classrooms and engage with the world of agriculture firsthand.

The cost for the class is $30 if you are a Farm Bureau member and $40 if you are not a member. Applications are available online. For more information, contact the Bureau County Farm Bureau at 815-875-6468 or talk to your local Ag Literacy Coordinator.
