Illinois Valley Community College is gearing up to conclude its centennial celebrations with a Roaring Twenties-themed gala on April 12, 2025. The festive event promises an evening filled with auctions, live music, and a special video montage highlighting scholarship recipients. This grand finale aims to bolster the IVCC Foundation, encouraging community involvement and support. The public is warmly invited to partake in the festivities and experience a step back in time to the 1920s. This gala not only marks a milestone for the institution but also emphasizes its commitment to educational advancement and community engagement.

“We are celebrating 100 years of academic excellence, and those that helped us get where we are and help us continue to grow!” said Foundation Executive Director Tracy Beattie. The videos will introduce a poignancy to the evening as guests see the faces and hear the stories of students for whom their generosity has made a difference, she added.

This unforgettable evening promises live music, auctions, and a moving video montage celebrating scholarship recipients. Open to the public, the gala aims to bolster the IVCC Foundation, directly benefiting students. Attendees will have the chance to bid on an array of enticing live and silent auction prizes, including gift certificates, trips, and delectable baskets. This event not only offers a night of entertainment but also an opportunity to support academic dreams.

Guests can enjoy an evening of fellowship for a good cause, Beattie said. “It is a nice date night, an adult prom, where you can get dressed up and mingle – and you will be going out to benefit a cause you can feel good about helping,” she said.

Attendance is open to the public, in addition to mailed invitations to current and past donors. RSVPs are due March 14th, or individuals may purchase tickets by using the link below, which are $125 per guest or $800 for a table for eight.
