Rock Falls Man in Whiteside County Jail for Child Pornography

A 39-year-old Rock Falls man is in the Whiteside County Jail for Dissemination of Child Pornography. Adam O. Davis was arrested after an investigation by the Illinois State Police (ISP) regarding dissemination of child pornography via computer from December 2023. ISP agents executed a search at a residence in the 1400 block of Avenue A in Rock Falls on June 6, 2024. Evidence of child pornography was collected during the search warrant, and Davis was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail. A detention hearing was held on June 7th and the State’s Petition to Deny Pretrial Release was granted. Davis will remain detained and have a detention hearing each time he goes to court. A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for June 17, 2024, at 1 PM.

Adam Davis is charged with five counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography/Victim under 13 (Class X Felony). A Class X Felony is punishable by six to thirty years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
