Rock Island Police are investigating a homicide after a 16-year-old male was dropped off with a gunshot wound at UnityPoint Trinity Hospital and later died. On January 26, 2025, around 8 PM, Rock Island Police responded to all for a gunshot victim who had been dropped off at the hospital by an unknown person. The incident remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made, and anyone with information is urged to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
