The local Rotary Club of Kewanee recently donated $900 to Windmont Lighting, supporting the initiative to upgrade their festive displays to energy-efficient LED lighting. This generous contribution will not only enhance the brilliance of the annual light show but also cut down on maintenance costs, ensuring the displays continue to sparkle each season. Additionally, Windmont introduced the “Swings of the Season” program, inviting local businesses and groups to sponsor swings. All funds raised from this initiative will be directed towards the LED conversion project, further brightening our community’s holiday celebrations.
