Sterling Main Street’s annual car show is on the move as it enters its 11th year. Held annually on the first Sunday of May, the 2024 Show will take place at the Sterling Marketplace, 111 W. 2nd Street in Downtown Sterling, adjacent to the Twin City Farmers Market on Sunday, May 5th. “Based on the success of the Cruise Nights last year that took place at the Marketplace, and feedback from its attendees, many of whom also participated in our car shows, bringing the show over to the Marketplace seemed like a good fit,” says Robin Duncan, Main Street Board Member and Car Show committee chair.
Early registration is now available online at https://sterlingmainstreet.org/events/car-show/, or by stopping into the Main Street office during business hours. Registration will open at 8:00 AM onsite the day of the event. It is a judged show. All makes, models and years are welcome. Awards will be presented to the Top 40, Mayor’s Choice and Best of Show.
Judging begins at Noon and the show closes after awards are presented, around 2:30 PM. A 50/50 raffle will also be held with the drawing at 2:00 PM before the awards ceremony begins. The registration fee for vehicles entering the show is $12 in advance or $15 day of. Spectator admission is Free! 3-D Sound will be the Master of Ceremonies for the day. Food Vendors, including Mr. Elote, the Sterling Optimists and Main Squeeze, will be available onsite as well.
