4-H ServSafe Manager Certification Course at SVCC

Students interested in a future in food service can take a big step forward this spring. The University of Illinois Extension is offering the 4-H ServSafe Manager Certification Course, designed for teens ages 14 to 18. Sessions take place April 14th and 15th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon.

Participants will receive essential training in food safety, sanitation, and leadership—valuable assets for the hospitality industry. The course fee is $80, with registration ending April 8. Visit svcc.edu/commedenroll and select “College for Kids” under “Safety” to sign up. Completion grants access to the certification exam.
