The City of Dixon would like to notify residents and motorists that 4th Avenue will be closed at the 600 block between Martin and Long Streets on Monday, November 3rd through Wednesday November 5th, to allow for a water service repair. This closure will begin at 5:00am Monday morning.
The road will be completely closed to all through traffic during this time. Motorists may detour around the closure using alternative streets in this vicinity. Trucks, vehicles with trailers, and large/wide/tall vehicles are advised to avoid the area and instead use Palmyra Street and Galena Avenue to travel around the work zone.
