The Coliseum Museum in Oregon, IL is pleased to announce the opening of the America the Beautiful Art Exhibit featuring 50 works of art by 25 artists from across the northern Illinois area, on display from February 4th – March 21st.
The America the Beautiful Art Exhibit is intended to show that patriotism runs deep throughout America, from sea to shining sea. The historic milestone of 250 years since the Declaration of Independence is an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future.
The exhibit will be judged by Stuart Roddy with awards presented at a reception on Friday, February 13, 6:00pm – 8:00pm with music by Jim Kanas & Roger Hintzsche.
