Arnie Beswick Coming to Morrison

Mark your calendars for a special celebration on Saturday, November 9th, as the Morrison Historical Society honors hometown drag racing legend Arnie Beswick. The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, Illinois. Attendees are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing their favorite Beswick fan gear.

The program includes an opportunity to purchase a biography of Beswick, “Arnie ‘The Farmer’ Beswick,” by Dean Fait, and to explore a display of Beswick memorabilia. Weather permitting, some of Beswick’s iconic dragsters will also be on display outdoors. Refreshments will be available following the tribute. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate a local motorsport icon in style!
