Arrests Made in Dixon for Vehicle Stolen from Iowa

On Tuesday, October 1st, at 10:40 p.m., officers with the Dixon Police Department made contact with a vehicle reported stolen out of Iowa in the 1700 block of South Galena Avenue. Through the Officer’s investigation, Antwan K Davis was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. A 15-year-old juvenile was taken into custody for Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

At the conclusion of the investigation the following individuals were charged; Antwan K. Davis (Passenger), age 32 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was charged with: – Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony, – Retail Theft, a Class A Misdemeanor, – Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property, a Class 4 Misdemeanor. 15-year-old Juvenile (Driver), – Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony.

Both subjects were processed and released with a future Notice to Appear. Citizens are reminded to call the Dixon Police Department at (815)288-4411 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888- Caught-U. (1-888-228-4488) Callers can remain anonymous and receive rewards of up to $1,000.00 if their information leads to an arrest.

All charges are merely an allegation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
