Sterling’s City Council has approved an economic incentive for Liven Holdings LLC to upgrade the parking lot at 502 E. Second Street. The $42,000 project will reconfigure the lot’s layout, allowing drivers to exit straight onto Second Street, eliminating the need to back into a tight alley.
City officials say the move will improve both safety and traffic flow in the area. Liven Holdings must complete construction before applying for a reimbursement covering up to half of the cost. The plan is part of ongoing efforts to encourage downtown investment and modernize infrastructure for local businesses and patrons.
