The Sterling Police Department is gearing up for the chilly season with their “Cops for Coats” winter clothing drive. They are calling on community members to donate new youth and adult winter coats, hats, and gloves.
These essential winter items will be distributed to several local organizations including the YMCA, PADS, and area schools to help those in need stay warm this winter. If you’re looking to contribute, mark your calendar for Friday, October 11th. Donations can be dropped off at the Sterling Police Department at 212 3rd Avenue, in the south parking lot from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. Join the effort to ensure no one goes cold this winter!
