A Dixon man has pleaded guilty to aggravated domestic battery stemming from a May 5th, 2024 incident, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Lloyd R. Hernandez, 36, admitted to assaulting a woman in rural Dixon while intoxicated, resulting in the loss of her tooth.

Hernandez initially faced three felony charges, but under a plea agreement Tuesday, the other two charges—failing to return to jail and damaging jail property—were dropped, as was a 2018 DUI case. He received 180 days in jail, 36 months probation, nearly $17,000 in fees, and no contact with the victim. Hernandez’s probation violation in Whiteside County remains pending.
