DIXON Police Seek Information on Shots Fired Incident

On Thursday, March 13th at approximately 8:55 p.m., Dixon Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of West Fourth Street after a report of shots being fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers did not locate anyone in the area. Officers confirmed there were shots fired and that no one was injured. The incident
appears to be isolated and drug related. Investigators are actively pursuing a number of leads obtained during the investigation.

The Department is requesting assistance from the public in an effort to learn the identity of the subject(s) responsible for this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Dixon Police Department at 288-4411 or Ogle-Lee Crimestoppers at 1-888-CAUGHT U (1-888-228-4488). Callers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.00 that leads to an arrest.
