Fire crews in Fulton responded early Sunday to a blaze at an apartment building on 11th Avenue. Arriving at the scene just after seven in the morning, firefighters found flames inside the structure and began suppression efforts immediately. Thanks to quick evacuation, all residents escaped without injury.
Multiple departments—including Clinton, Thomson, and Morrison Fire—were called in to assist, helping bring the fire under control and limiting further damage. Authorities are currently investigating the cause. Local law enforcement and the State Fire Marshall’s Office also provided support. Fulton Fire Chief Eric Burden praised the coordinated response for ensuring everyone’s safety.
