Education Opportunities:
The Ogle County Health Department is partnering with the University of Illinois Extension offices to offer a new nutrition curriculum!
HOMEGROWN HEALTHY
- Classes will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Mondays starting June 3rd at the Oregon Public Library and already started classes are at the Carroll County Housing Authority on Wednesdays from 2:00pm-3:00pm.

- Follow the seed through the growing season, incorporating hydroponics, food preparation, and food storage
- 10, 1-hour long classes
- For individuals or families
Mini Food Centers:
Why Mini Food Centers are needed: to assist in creating 24/7 equal access to nutritious foods, local generosity and volunteers, convenient locations. What is Food Insecurity: The condition of not having access to sufficient food, or food of an adequate quality, to meet one’s basic needs.
