The State Senate Republican Caucus is calling on Illinois residents to help honor local veterans during this year’s Capitol Veterans Day Display. Set for October 28th, through November 13th, the Capitol Rotunda in Springfield will showcase photos and personal stories from veterans across Illinois.
Organizers are seeking public submissions—photos and brief accounts of service members, including their branch and conflict served. Families and friends can participate by sending these to [email protected] or by mail to the State House in Springfield. Submissions received through November 10th will help ensure every veteran’s sacrifice is recognized and their legacies preserved.
