In Rock Falls, city infrastructure development is gearing up for the year ahead. City Administrator Robbin Blackert has revealed that while the project list isn’t as extensive as last year, there’s exciting work in the pipeline.
With an extra $600,000 from the Motor Fuel Tax, Rock Falls aims to complete key projects by June’s end. To expedite, the bidding process has been waived. Residents can look forward to improvements through Chip and Oil projects, as well as grinding and overlay initiatives. These enhancements promise to boost the community’s road conditions and overall infrastructure.
