On Sunday, January 28th, The Dixon Police Department was dispatched to the 1600 block of South Galena Avenue to assist with a medical call. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased female laying on the ground. Detectives began an initial investigation and at this time have determined there was nothing suspicious involving the death.
The name of the female will not be released until the family is notified. The investigation is ongoing and the cause of death will be determined pending the
autopsy results.
