In Lee County, a collaboration between 4-H and Dixon-based Sewer Equipment is paving the way for the next generation of designers and engineers with the upcoming Future Designers Workshop. On December 12th at the Lee County Extension Office, children aged 10-18 are invited to explore the realms of digital design and 3D printing.
The workshop begins at 5 p.m., offering hands-on experience with 3D design software and printing equipment under expert supervision. This session not only promises fun and creativity but also aims to equip the youth with critical thinking and problem-solving skills highly sought after in technological and engineering fields.
To participate, register at go.illinois.edu/LeeDesign; it’s free for 4-H members and $5 for other participants. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged to ensure a spot in this innovative workshop.
