The Sauk Valley College Foundation is spearheading a major fundraising initiative, aimed at providing full funding for Morrison School District students enrolled in the SVCC Impact Program. With a goal of $450,000, the Foundation has already raised $150,000 and is seeking an additional $300,000 to make Morrison High School the fourth school to fully fund its endowment.
The Impact Program offers Morrison students up to three years of free tuition at SVCC in exchange for community service. To date, 103 Morrison students have contributed 3,722 hours to local nonprofits. Donations are welcomed from individuals, companies, estate donations, alumni, benefactors of Morrison High School, organizations, corporations.
