On Tuesday, September 19th, Whiteside County Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at 1025 12st Street in Erie. During the investigation deputies identified a male subject sitting in the front driver’s seat of the GMC pickup truck, as Evan R. Ward 30 years old of Milan. A search of the pick- up was conducted and purported Methamphetamine was found. Ward was placed under arrest and transported to Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, and was processed released with a Notice to Appear.
This is merely an arrest and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
