Morrison City Hall Closed Today
Morrison residents are reminded that City Hall is closed all day today and will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, July 10th. The closure is part of a planned series of intermittent shutdowns while municipal staff take part in hands-on training for a major computer software system transition.
City officials say the training is needed to help employees prepare for the new system and maintain service once the changeover is complete. Anyone needing city services should plan around the closure. Regular business hours are scheduled to resume Monday, July 13th.
Due to the system migration to the new BS&A software platform, the city’s July utility bills have been delayed and will be mailed out no earlier than July 10th. To accommodate the short notice before the typical July 15th due date, the city has announced that no late fees or penalties will be assessed during this billing cycle.
