New Inmate Mail Procedure Initiated at The Whiteside County Jail

SHARE NOW

Effective May 1st, 2025, the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office has implemented a new inmate mail processing procedure aimed at improving the safety of both jail staff and inmates while streamlining the delivery of mail

To reduce the risk of contraband entering the facility and to ensure a safer environment for everyone within the jail, all nonprivileged (standard) inmate mail must now be sent to a designated offsite mail processing center. This measure is part of ongoing efforts to modernize facility operations and safeguard those who live and work inside the Whiteside County Jail
