The Phidian Art Club of Dixon will be accepting entries for their annual art show on Monday, April 13th, and Tuesday, April 14th, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the lower level of the Loveland Community House 513 W. Second St. The show opens Thursday April 16th, at 6 p.m. with judge’s comments and reception to follow. Artists’ guidelines and entry forms are available at Loveland and at The Next Picture Show gallery and will be available at registration. The show will not include photography or three dimensional work.
This year’s guest judge will be Larry K. Johnson, nationally recognized sculptor and art scholar. Mr. Johnson’s work can be found in numerous museums, churches and public facilities throughout North America as well as in many private collections.
