The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce’s (SVACC) Professional Women’s Network (PWN) committee announced their spring luncheon, Preventing Burnout – How to effectively manage stress and anxiety, presented by Susan Carlson, LCSW, Sinnissippi Centers, will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 11:45 am – 1:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2200 16th Ave, Sterling, IL. Preregistration is required by Wednesday, March 15th.
“This is a training everyone should attend,” said Professional Women’s Network co-chairs, Nicole Bollman (CGH Medical Center) and Charlotte Dunne (Illinois American Water). “Mental health is a serious concern for all women who strive to be at the top of their game. Please join us and bring your coworkers, and friends, or attend as a self-investment.”
This training will provide you with valuable tools to manage stress and anxiety. As a Licensed Social Worker with over 16 years of experience working with mental health, Susan will provide insightful tips to recognize the signs and symptoms of burnout and how to actively reduce your stress.
The cost for the event is $20 for SVACC chamber members and $25 for non-chamber members. This includes the training, lunch (a taco bar provided by Creative Cuisine), and networking with Sauk Valley Area businesswomen.
Registration is needed by March 15th, 2023. Register online at www.saukvalleyareachamber.com/events or call the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce at 815-625-2400.
