A Rock Falls man faces serious felony charges in Whiteside County after authorities allege he possessed 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Gregory S. Mc Elhiney, 42, was arrested and charged last Friday and is being held in the county jail. He also faces charges for driving with a revoked license and requested a speedy trial in court.
Previously, McElhiney was released pretrial in a weapons and criminal damage case, but his release was revoked following these new drug charges. Additional cases accuse him of driving violations and drug paraphernalia possession. His next court appearance is set for June 9th.
