On Tuesday, October 10th, at 12:54pm Whiteside County Detectives were conducting surveillance at a residence in the 1600 block of Riverdale Rd, Rock Falls. At this time a female subject matching the description of Samantha J. Sliger, 33 of Rock Falls, who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants out of Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, was outside the residence.
Then female subject then fled on foot into a trailer. Attempts were made by Sheriff’s Detectives to have the female exit the residence with negative results. Ultimately, consent was gained from the owner of the residence and entry was made. Samantha J. Sliger 33 was located inside the residence and arrested.
The following is a list of the warrants and new charges;
Warrants:
- Whiteside County – Aggravated Identity Theft and Theft/Deception
- Lee County – Possession of Methamphetamine
- Ogle County- Identity Theft and Forgery
- Winnegabo County – Driving While License Suspended/Revoked
Stephenson County – Forgery/Issue/Deliver of Document
- Janesville Police Department – 2 counts of Motor Vehicle Theft, Fraud on Innkeeper, Attempting to Flee or elude an Officer and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Bettendorf Police Department- Eluding – speed over 25 over limit and No Valid Driver’s License
New Charges:
Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 3 Counts of Disorderly Conduct, and 7 Counts of Theft
Assisted on scene by the Rock Falls Police Department and CGH Medical Center.
These charges are merely an arrest and the subject is presumed innocent until proven Guilty.
