At approximately 3:09 Saturday morning, Sterling Fire Department, Rock Falls Fire Department and CGH EMS were dispatched for a rollover accident at Lincolnway and Mound Hill Road. Further information was reported that Lee County Sheriff Department and Illinois State Police were on scene, with a single vehicle on its roof.
Dispatch updated the units enroute that LCSD were doing CPR on one male patient that was found ejected from the vehicle. Upon arrival, CGH EMS and Sterling Fire Department took over patient care and he was then transported to CGH. The two fire departments assisted with securing the scene, until released by LSCD.
