“Share Your Story, Inspire Hope,”

SHARE NOW

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Western Illinois University Health Science Graduate Student Association (HSGSA) is calling on members of the WIU and local communities to share their personal stories and experiences with breast cancer.

The initiative, titled “Share Your Story, Inspire Hope,” aims to provide a platform for survivors and loved ones to educate, inspire and raise awareness. Participants can choose to share their journey through a written submission or a brief interview, either online or in person.

HSGSA’s campaign emphasizes that “knowing it exists is not enough,” encouraging active awareness, understanding and support for those affected by breast cancer.

Through this storytelling effort, the organization hopes to highlight resilience and foster a supportive community that stands with survivors.

Those interested in participating can contact [email protected] for more information.
