The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee is gearing up for its 40th annual Steak Fry in the Country on Thursday, August 7th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Ted Jacobs Farm in Rock Falls.
The gathering celebrates regional agriculture while raising money for scholarships, education, and workforce development. This year, the event will honor the 2025-26 ag scholarship recipients and feature a popular dessert auction with treats made by committee members.
