In remembrance of the veterans that have passed before us, the Sterling American Legion Post 296 invites the public to join us for a Memorial Day ceremony being held at the Grandon Civic Center in Sterling, on Monday, May 29th , at 11:00 a.m.
Guest speaker for the event will be Specialist James Hartwig of DeKalb, a member of the Illinois National Guard, Troop B, 2nd Squadron, 106th Cavalry, in Dixon.
Inclement weather will move the ceremony to Sterling High School Centennial Auditorium.
