The Dixon Police Department apprehended 20-year-old Logan D. Flatt of Sterling last Friday, following a series of traffic violations and a chase. An officer, recognizing that Flatt was unlicensed, attempted to stop him after an improper turn. Flatt, however, sped away in a stolen Mercedes Benz, which was later found abandoned. He was eventually captured after fleeing on foot. Flatt now faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated fleeing, among others. After processing, he was released with a Notice to Appear in court.
