A tragic collision at the intersection of 19th Avenue NW and Mills Creek Parkway in Clinton has claimed the life of a Sterling resident. According to Iowa State Patrol, the incident took place around 2:57 p.m. on Sunday, March 22nd. Authorities say a northbound vehicle from 19th Avenue NW was hit by an eastbound vehicle on Mills Creek Parkway. The victim has been identified as 57-year-old David Noble of Sterling. Emergency personnel responded swiftly, but Noble did not survive. The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation by local officials.
