Sterling police responded to a domestic battery incident on the 500 block of 6th Avenue involving Justin M. Malston. In a separate incident, a traffic stop on the 900 block of 1st Avenue led to Romeo Rodriguez being charged for driving while license revoked. Both individuals were processed, with Rodriguez taken to Whiteside County Jail.
