On Wednesday, July 2nd, following our press release, Emillio Castro (18) of Rock Falls and Ethon Hemminger (18) of Rock Falls turned themselves in at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office is still conducting follow-up interviews regarding this alleged violent incident. As Sheriff, I know there are additional witnesses who may be fearful to come forward. Because this investigation is still very much ongoing, we are not releasing all of the details at this time. We ask for the public’s understanding and patience as we work to complete a thorough and fair investigation.
