    WHAT
    Very cold wind chills as low as 27 below expected.
    WHERE
    Portions of north central, northwest, and west central Illinois, east central and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.
    WHEN
    From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Tuesday.
    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

WHEN: Saturday, December 14th 8:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m. WHERE: United Methodist Church, 200 W Lincolnway DETAILS: Drop off your gifts to be wrapped, then pick up by 3:00p.m. “Bring gifts in tall kitchen bags “labeled” according to how you would like them tagged.

Use large garbage bag to place multiple smaller bags together. Have paper or ribbon. you would like us to use? Bring it along or we will have some! Our services are provided at no cost, but donations are warmly accepted to continue serving our community.
