Uncontested Results in Whiteside County

In the 37th District State Senate race, with Senator Win Stoller stepping out of the re-election process, Republican candidate Li Arellano, Jr. capturing all 21,414 votes.  With 100% of precincts reporting, the voter turnout was notably high at 71.2%, reflecting the community’s engagement in this electoral process, with Arellano as the sole recipient of the votes.

In the 73rd District’s State Representative race, an update reflects a complete reporting from all 23 precincts. Of the 14,111 registered voters, 10,635 cast their ballots, marking a voter turnout of 75.4%. Republican Ryan Spain secured all of the 8,770 votes counted, with no Democratic candidates opposing.

Republican Colleen Buckwalter has the position of County State’s Attorney, securing all 21,415 votes cast for the role. This election saw no Democratic candidates vying for the position,  in the uncontested race. With a voter turnout of 71.2%, approximately 26,633 ballots were cast from a pool of 37,430 registered voters.

Sue Scott of the Republican party won the position of County Circuit Clerk. The final tally shows that out of 21,439 votes counted, Scott secured 100% of the votes, with no Democratic candidates challenging her. With all 60 precincts reporting, voter turnout was notably high at 71.2%, reflecting strong public interest in this election. A total of 26,633 ballots were cast from an eligible 37,430 registered voters.

For County Recorder saw 71.2% of registered voters casting their ballots, all 60 precincts reporting, Kendra Kophamer Bush, running unopposed on the Republican ticket,  capturing 100% of the total 21,402 votes counted.  Kendra Kophamer Bush will now serve as the new County Recorder,
