The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that starting Monday February 3rd, 10-ton vehicle weight restrictions will go into effect on the following roads in Whiteside County:
- Garden Plain Road: 5 tons per axle (westbound lane only)
- Freeport Road: 11 tons
Depending upon the weather, the postings will be lifted on or before May 1st.
