Woodlawn Dance Academy dancers age 3-adult will perform three recitals with the theme “Music Icons.” The music-legend-themed events are set for May 31st and June 1st at Centennial Auditorium, and mark the Academy’s 16th annual dance recitals.
Tickets are $12 each and are available now at centennialauditorium.org. A processing fee will be applied to online ticket purchases. Tickets also are available at the Centennial Auditorium box office between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays, and will be available at the door. The performances will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31st, and 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1st.
“Our students and staff put so much hard work into our annual recitals, and I’m always incredibly proud of not only these performances, but our entire program,” said Christy Zepezauer, Woodlawn’s executive director. “Our recital weekend is a great chance for anyone interested in starting dance to check out Woodlawn Dance Academy and see all that we have to offer.”
Woodlawn Dance Academy’s summer programs start the week of June 10th, and registration is available now in person at the Academy or by calling 815-626-4278. The Academy also offers visual arts, music, theater and culinary arts programming and events.
