Tickets are $12 each and are available now at centennialauditorium.org. A processing fee will be applied to online ticket purchases. Tickets also are available at the Centennial Auditorium box office between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays, and will be available at the door. The performances will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31st, and 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1st.

“Our students and staff put so much hard work into our annual recitals, and I’m always incredibly proud of not only these performances, but our entire program,” said Christy Zepezauer, Woodlawn’s executive director. “Our recital weekend is a great chance for anyone interested in starting dance to check out Woodlawn Dance Academy and see all that we have to offer.”

Woodlawn Dance Academy’s summer programs start the week of June 10th, and registration is available now in person at the Academy or by calling 815-626-4278. The Academy also offers visual arts, music, theater and culinary arts programming and events. Woodlawn Arts Academy is an agency of United Way of Whiteside and Lee counties, and financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

Details on the Academy’s programming and financial assistance applications are available in the Academy office or on the website. The Academy’s programs are partially funded by grants from the Illinois Arts Council Agency and the Chicago Community Trust.
